Patio and paver cleaning in Grand Rapids. The green comes out of the joints.

Blast a patio with too much pressure and that sand washes out of the joints. Then the pavers shift and the weeds come through, and it ends up worse than the dirt was. We clean at a controlled pressure and re-sand where it's needed.

Sound familiar

Three things people are looking at.

01

The patio has gone green in the shade.

Same algae and black mildew that grows on the siding, and it's slick when it rains. There's moss down in the joints too.

02

There's a white haze on the brick.

A chalky bloom coming through the surface that no amount of scrubbing takes off. That's efflorescence, and it's a mineral, not dirt.

03

Somebody blew the sand out of your joints.

It got cleaned hard, the joints emptied, and now the pavers rock underfoot and the weeds are coming up between them.

What you're actually getting.

A flat number

Not an estimate that creeps. You get the price up front and it's the price when we're done.

Streak-free or we're back

If it streaks we re-clean it free within 7 days. You don't chase us and you don't pay twice.

Soft wash, not blasting

Low pressure and the right cleaner. Plant-safe, and no high pressure on shingles. That's the thing that wrecks a roof.

Owner-operated

The same crew every time, insured, working out of Wyoming, MI. No subcontractors showing up under our name.

Start to finish

What happens when you call.

  1. You call us Tell us the size, the material and what you're seeing on it. Brick, natural stone and efflorescence are three different jobs. Flat number on the call.
  2. Controlled pressure, not maximum Enough to lift the algae and the grime out of the surface, not enough to strip the joints. The joints stay where they are.
  3. Re-sand where it's needed If the joints came up short we put the sand back before we leave, so the patio locks up the way it's supposed to.

“While living in the woods has its charms, a moss covered roof and moldy siding isn't one of them! Amazing job on the roof and siding. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

Melissa P.

“The team did an outstanding job! They were professional, they were quick, and they delivered exactly what they promised.”

The pass line. Same pavers on both sides of it.

Proof

Same pavers on both sides of the line.

The only difference is the pass. Nothing was replaced and nothing was sealed. That's the color the brick has been under the algae the whole time.

What it costs

We can't print a price. Here's what sets yours.

A number printed on a website and the number our crew gives you standing in your driveway have to be the same number, and on this work they often can't be. So here's what actually moves it.

COMING OUT
Nothing. There's no estimate visit to schedule and nothing owed to ask.
THE SIZE
Square footage and the run of siding. It's the biggest single factor on a house wash.
ONE STORY OR TWO
Height changes the equipment, the time and the safety setup. A two-story isn't a ranch scaled up.
HOW DIRTY IT IS
A light green film rinses. Years of black streaking, heavy moss, rust or oil takes more product and more time.
HOW MUCH AT ONCE
One trip over four surfaces costs less than four visits. The drive out and the setup only happen once.

Before you call

The four things people ask on the phone.

Will pressure washing ruin my pavers?

It can, if it's done with too much pressure. Aggressive washing erodes the joint sand that holds the pavers in place. Done at a controlled pressure, with re-sanding where it's needed, cleaning pavers is safe.

What is the white powder on my brick patio?

That's efflorescence, minerals migrating to the surface and drying as a white bloom. It isn't dirt and it won't pressure-wash off. It needs its own treatment. Call and describe it and we'll confirm.

Do you seal the pavers after?

No. Polymeric joint sand and sealing do extend the result and lock the joints, but sealing isn't part of the cleaning. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it on your patio.

Is the green on my patio the same as on my siding?

Yes. The green algae and black mildew on a patio are the same organisms that grow on siding, plus moss in the shaded joints. Same reason, same fix.

The detail, if you want it

The thing most people get wrong with pavers

Pavers have sand-filled joints that hold the whole surface together. Aggressive high pressure erodes that joint sand, which leads to shifting, weeds, and uneven pavers. The right approach uses a controlled, even pressure that lifts algae and grime out of the surface without stripping the joints — and re-sanding afterward where it's needed.

What we clean off

Patios and walkways collect green algae and black mildew (the same organisms as on siding), moss in the shaded joints, and general grime. Brick and natural stone respond well to a proper cleaning. One thing to know: efflorescence — the chalky white mineral bloom that surfaces on brick and pavers — is a mineral issue, not dirt, and it needs a specific treatment rather than pressure. If you're seeing white haze, call and we'll tell you what it actually is.

A note on sealing

Polymeric joint sand and paver sealing extend results and lock the joints, but sealing is not part of our standard cleaning service. We'll clean it properly and tell you honestly whether sealing is worth it for your patio.

Call and tell us what you're seeing.
